Lease and Redevelop Centro Español at 2306 N. Howard

The City of Tampa is seeking a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit or for‑profit entity to lease the historic Centro Español building and adjacent vacant lots, and to redevelop the property for a community‑compatible use that meets federal CDBG requirements and preserves the structure’s historic character. The lease will be “as‑is/where‑is,” with the selected proposer responsible for rent, maintenance, and all renovation work subject to architectural review and compliance with historic preservation standards. The project includes a 30,610 sq ft main building (theatre included) and two adjacent parcels, located in the West Tampa National Historic District.
