Description
The City of Sidney is seeking qualified contractors to purchase and plant a variety of tree species at multiple public locations throughout the city. Bidders must be members of the Ohio Green Industry Association (OGIA), provide a 10% bid guaranty, and be able to post a 100% performance bond after award. The scope includes full supply of trees, site preparation, planting, staking, mulching, and a one‑year guarantee of tree survival. The contract term runs from late October 2025 through early December 2026, with a total estimated cost of approximately $55,500.
• Must supply and install ~28 trees of specified species, quantities, and sizes.
• Requires OGIA membership, Certified Arborist oversight, and compliance with Davis‑Bacon, Buy‑American, and federal labor standards.
• Bid guaranty: 10% of bid; performance & payment bonds: 100% of contract price.
