Description
The Santa Clarita Valley School Food Services Agency is seeking bids from qualified vendors to manufacture, deliver, and install hot and cold serving counters at various school site locations. The scope of work involves the manufacture and/or distribution, delivery, setup, and training on the use of 35 hot and 23 cold serving line units to 22 different locations throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. The selected vendor will be required to train agency personnel on start-up, calibration, operation, adjustment, clean-up, and maintenance of the equipment.
• The equipment and its component parts shall be new and unused.
• All items of standard manufactured equipment shall be current models at the time of delivery.
• Parts subject to wear, breakage, or distortion shall be accessible for adjustment, replacement, and repair.
• The cutting of holes in equipment for pipe, drains, electrical outlets, etc., required for this installation, shall be part of this work.
• Work shall conform to the highest standards of workmanship and shall include welded sleeves, collars, ferrules, and escutcheons.
• Repair of all damage to the premises as a result of the equipment installation as well as the removal of all debris left by the work of this section.
