Description
The Vermont Army National Guard (VTARNG) is seeking a biathlon range and associated facilities to host the National Guard Biathlon Eastern Invitational race. The required facilities include an International Biathlon Union (IBU) Class B biathlon range, snow grooming capability, a range with 30 firing points, a timing building, and a warming facility. The facility must be located below 6,500 feet altitude, within 50 miles of military billets, and within a 2-hour travel distance from a major airport. The facility must also have the capacity to host an event for approximately 150 participants and associated personnel.
