The State of Michigan is seeking a contractor to perform upgrades to the Gwinn Building. The project includes removing unused roof curbs and replacing the existing EPDM roofing membrane, providing electrical power upgrades, upgrading to LED lighting, revising existing restrooms, and making miscellaneous hydronic heating modifications. The contractor will be responsible for completing the work within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on March 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm ET. Some key features of the project include: • Removal of unused roof curbs and replacement of the existing EPDM roofing membrane • Electrical power upgrades in the warehouse/storage area • Upgrades to LED lighting in the warehouse/storage area • Revision of existing restrooms to accommodate separate unisex facilities • Miscellaneous hydronic heating modifications • Relocation of existing unit heaters and addition of a hydronic heating system with glycol feeder The contractor must ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the contract documents and that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
