Flashing Beacons

The City of Santa Rosa is seeking to purchase solar powered rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFBs) in compliance with the specifications, terms, and conditions identified in the Request for Quotation. The bid will be awarded on an "all or none" basis. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the equipment described in the schedule below. Key features of the required equipment include: 12V solar powered 3”x7” Amber LEDs, side-emitting pedestrian confirmation LEDs, FHWA IA-21 compliance, wireless radio communication, adjustable flash duration, automatic light control, replaceable battery, ADA compliant pushbutton, and a 5-year warranty on the RRFB system. • The equipment must meet the minimum requirements specified in the Request for Quotation. • The bidder must provide a completed bid packet, including all required forms and attachments. • The bidder must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. • The bidder must provide a warranty for the equipment, as specified in the Request for Quotation. • The bidder must provide proof of insurance, as specified in the Request for Quotation.
