Description
The City of Salina is seeking qualified engineering firms to pre‑qualify for the design and construction‑phase support of the Fairdale Road culvert replacement project. The scope includes condition assessment of three existing corrugated metal pipe culverts, development of alternative designs, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, preparation of construction‑ready plans and specifications, assistance with easement acquisition, utility coordination, and potential retaining‑wall modifications. The consultant will also support the city through construction‑phase activities and must meet a design‑complete milestone by early September 2027.
• Evaluate replacement alternatives and perform H‑H analyses referencing a 2008 drainage study and downstream constraints.
• Produce complete design packages (plans, specs, easement documents) and coordinate utility relocations and easement acquisition.
• Provide staff resumes, past‑project data, and a concise qualifications packet (≤ 20 pages) by the September 18, 2026 deadline.
