California’s Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to provide temporary and relief physical‑therapy services to the Veterans Home of California in Redding. The work is performed on an as‑needed basis to cover staff vacancies, leaves, or shortfalls, using a fixed‑price hourly rate. Providers must hold a current California PT license, CPR/BLS/AED certifications, and reside within 100 miles of the Redding Home. The contract is a three‑year, fixed‑price agreement with an estimated 84 PT hours per month over 36 months, subject to change based on demand.
• Scope: Deliver on‑call PT services (assessment, treatment planning, documentation) during normal business hours and as required after hours.
• Requirements: California PT license, 12 months recent experience, background Live‑Scan, TB/Hepatitis B health clearance, mandatory orientation, and comprehensive insurance.
