St. Mark Catholic Church Renovation - Independence, MO

The St. Mark Catholic Church in Independence, MO is undertaking a comprehensive interior renovation of its nave, narthex, and chapel. Work will begin May 18 2026 and conclude Dec 11 2026, covering roughly 20,400 sq ft. The renovation includes new tile flooring, upgraded lighting, relocation and reconstruction of the confessional, baptistry, and tabernacle, modifications to stone walls, geo‑foam installation, extensive drywall and trim, and three optional alternates for additional electrical and architectural work.
