On-Call Sustainability Consulting Services

The County of San Luis Obispo is seeking on-call sustainability consulting services to support the San Luis Obispo County Airport and Oceano Airport. The consultant will provide technical, strategic, and implementation support across a range of environmental, sustainability, resilience, and compliance-related initiatives as needs arise. The scope of work includes sustainable planning, design, and construction support, climate, energy, and greenhouse gas management, water management, waste management and materials sustainability, and climate resilience and adaptation. The consultant will work on an on-call, task-order basis, and the contract term is expected to be five years. • The consultant will provide expertise to advance sustainable design and construction practices across airport facilities and infrastructure projects. • The consultant will support the implementation of carbon reduction, electrification, renewable energy, and energy efficiency strategies. • The consultant will evaluate potable water use reduction strategies and implement water efficiency measures in facilities and operations. • The consultant will develop and refine airport-wide waste management policies and programs. • The consultant will support the integration of climate adaptation and resilience considerations into airport planning, design, and operations.
