Notice to Contractors for Construction Projects

The Arkansas Department of Transportation is seeking bids from eligible contractors for various construction projects. The department requires contractors to furnish a proposal guaranty consisting of either a bidder’s bond or a certified or cashier’s check in the amount of five percent of the total amount bid. The company issuing the bond must be named in the Department of Treasury Listing of companies holding Certificates of Authority as acceptable sureties on Federal Bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies. • The bid submission deadline is January 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. • Contractors must be prequalified to bid on these projects. • The department reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities. • A complete listing of the jobs to be included in this letting and the corresponding plans and proposal documents can be found on the Department’s website.
