Construction Services for the Altadena Main Library Renovation

The Altadena Library District is seeking construction services for the renovation of the Altadena Main Library. The project scope includes the comprehensive renovation of the approximately 25,000 sf library structure, and addition of approximately 650 sf entry lobby, including reconfiguration of interior spaces, accessibility upgrades, seismic upgrades, new mechanical systems, electrical and lighting upgrades, AV/IT upgrades, new fire protection and suppression systems, hazardous material abatement, storefront window and door replacement, roof replacement, new outdoor gathering spaces, and other work as defined in the RFP documents. • The project requires a contractors license, insurance, and prevailing wage. • The project has a mandatory job-walk visit. • The project has a best-value evaluation criteria, with price being one of several factors. • The project has an addendum that modifies the previously issued RFP documents.
