Description
The City of Thornton seeks a professional engineering firm to design and administer construction of a buried‑pipe conversion for the existing Union Ditch (≈ 3,100 ft) and to design an automated headgate with solar‑powered actuator. The work includes full pre‑design, preliminary, and final design phases, cost estimating, bid‑phase support, construction‑phase administration, and close‑out services, all to be completed by April 1 2028. The contract is fixed‑fee, with deliverables spanning construction‑ready drawings, specifications, cost estimates, submittal reviews, and as‑built documentation.
