Description
The City of Salina seeks an engineering consulting firm to evaluate, design, and support the replacement of three deteriorating culverts on Fairdale Road. The consultant will update hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, develop construction‑ready plans and specifications, assist with easement acquisition, coordinate utility relocations, and provide construction‑phase support. The effort culminates in a complete design package and readiness for construction bidding.
• Perform updated 25‑yr storm hydraulic modeling for three 28‑in × 40‑in corrugated metal pipe culverts and integrate downstream box‑culvert effects.
• Produce detailed design drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and assist with permitting and easement acquisition (temporary and permanent drainage easements).
• Manage utility relocation coordination, retain‑wall considerations, and provide construction‑phase assistance up to bid award.
