Engineering and Surveying Professional Design Services for the Olde Towne Shared Use Path

The City of Gaithersburg is seeking engineering and surveying professional design services for the Olde Towne Shared Use Path project. The project involves designing a shared use path connection between Olde Towne Gaithersburg and Washington Grove. The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing complete IFB documents for the design of the path project. The consultant must be proficient in the services listed in the RFP and must bring an experienced and expert staff to the contract. Some key points about the project include: • The path will be approximately 0.9 miles long and 10 feet wide. • The path will start approximately 385 feet east of the intersection of N. Summit Avenue and E. Diamond Avenue. • The path will continue east along E. Diamond Avenue/Washington Grove Lane/Railroad Street and will terminate in Washington Grove. • The consultant must submit a technical proposal and a standard form (SF) 330. • The procurement will be conducted with competitive negotiation (qualifications-based selection) procedures.
