OIR COMPUTER ROOM (CRAC)

The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA) is seeking bids for the replacement of Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units and associated chilled water systems serving the Office of Information Center at MVA Headquarters, Glen Burnie, Maryland. The project includes the replacement of 10 CRAC units, outdoor condensers, humidifiers, and related mechanical, electrical, and control systems. The contractor will be responsible for providing temporary power and cooling arrangements, and for coordinating all construction phases to minimize disruption to building operations. The project is expected to be completed within 270 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). Some key highlights of the project include: * Replacement of CRAC units and associated chilled water systems * Installation of new humidifiers and window shades * Phased replacement of HVAC system to avoid disruption to building operations * Provision of temporary power and cooling arrangements * Coordination with MVA IT Division to ensure minimal disruption to Data Center functions
