FY 2026 Notice of Funding Opportunity: Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) Airport Terminal Program (ATP) Grants

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is announcing the opportunity to apply for approximately $1 billion in FY 2026 competitive funds for the Airport Terminal Program (ATP) under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 (IIJA). The purpose of the ATP is to make annual grants available to eligible airports for airport terminal and airport-owned Airport Traffic Control Tower development projects that address the aging infrastructure of the nation’s airports. • Eligible applicants include public agencies, private entities, state agencies, Indian Tribes or Pueblos owning a public-use National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) airport. • The estimated funding for this opportunity is $970,000,000. • The award floor is $25,000, and there is no award ceiling. • Applicants must submit their applications by January 15, 2026, 5:00 pm Eastern time. • The opportunity is competitive, and applicants must meet the requirements within the FY26 ATP Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
