Description
The State of Vermont is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive food‑scrap collection, container management, and transport services to 28 State Parks. The contractor must supply bear‑proof containers, adhere to a variable pickup schedule (weekly, every‑other‑week, or on‑call), and ensure all material is delivered to a compliant composting facility. Performance will be measured by pickup compliance, contamination control, monthly reporting, and timely invoicing.
• Collect and haul food‑scrap waste from designated parks using state‑provided or contractor‑supplied containers.
• Provide, maintain, and replace containers (32‑gal and 48‑gal) and meet a 10‑day notice change‑request policy.
• Follow strict contamination guidelines; missed pickups trigger a ¼‑monthly‑charge penalty.
