Multi-Signal Scene Analyzer (MSSA) software

The United States Navy is seeking a contractor to improve the functionality of the existing Multi-Signal Scene Analyzer (MSSA) software. The contractor will be required to enhance the software's detection and characterization algorithms, develop new software modules, and improve the graphical user interface (GUI) to make it more user-friendly for non-technical users. The contractor will also be responsible for implementing and testing hardware upgrades, including the integration of external digitizers and an NVIDIA A100 GPU. The goal of the project is to reduce the signal detection and characterization processing time, improve accuracy, and provide a GUI that allows non-technical users to operate the Whisper system. • The contractor must apply cyclostationary theory to enhance the MSSA software detection and characterization algorithms. • The contractor must develop and generate a simulated signal suite that includes various types of signals. • The contractor must integrate external digitizers and an NVIDIA A100 GPU into the existing Whisper system hardware. • The contractor must perform hardware upgrade implementation and testing to minimize impact on the Pomonkey Facility's mission.
