RFP - Door Replacement

The Van Buren Intermediate School District is soliciting competitive bids for the replacement of multiple doors throughout various buildings. The project includes the removal and disposal of existing doors and the installation of new doors, including fire doors, at several locations. The successful bidder will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and complying with applicable federal, state, and local safety and code requirements. The bidder must also provide a written safety program and comply with ADA requirements when applicable. Some key aspects of the project include: • Replacing 12 classroom doors at the Bert Goens Learning Center • Replacing 8 fire doors at the main building entrance of Van Buren Tech • Replacing 20 classroom doors at Van Buren Tech • Replacing 6 classroom doors at Maple Creek Education Center • Replacing 1 exterior door at the Transportation building • Providing a plan review with the SOM, BFS, and BCC regarding fire doors • Complying with applicable federal, state, and local safety and code requirements • Providing a written safety program and complying with ADA requirements when applicable
