City of Sherman Historic Texas Sign and Plaza

The City of Sherman is seeking bids for the construction of the Historic Texas Sign and Plaza. The project includes the installation of a refurbished historic "Texas" sign on a new steel support pipe set on a masonry-veneer base within a new corner plaza. The work includes the sealed concrete sign-support foundation, masonry-veneer base, seat walls and planters, hardscape, ADA-compliant curb ramps and sidewalks, landscape hardscape, site restoration, and site electrical for sign illumination. The project is expected to be completed within 90 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. • The project requires a lump sum price for the entirety of the work. • The bidder must provide a project plan, pricing, and references. • The bidder must also provide a letter of bonding capacity and proof of insurance. • The City of Sherman reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
