Description
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide non-personal health care services to the Taos-Picuris Service Unit in Taos, New Mexico. The selected contractor will furnish qualified Dental Hygienist personnel to provide preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services under the general supervision of a licensed dentist. The services will be performed onsite at the Taos-Picuris Health Center, Dental Department. The contractor will be responsible for providing 40 hours of services per week, with a specific work schedule to be coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The period of performance consists of a one-year base period and two one-year option periods.
• The contractor must have a current, active, unrestricted Dental Hygienist license from a U.S. state or territory.
• The contractor must have a degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
• The contractor must have current required certifications, including radiography certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• The contractor must be able to meet IHS credentialing, privileging, training, and background investigation requirements.
