5670--Automated Pass Through Window

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources capable of providing an automated pass-through window and installation equivalent to the brand Steris. The window should have a minimum of two 25" stainless steel set-down counters, one on each side, and window dimensions of no greater than 28" (w) x 45" (h). The window must be sensor-activated, have an audible alarm, and maintain negative air pressure in soiled areas. The contractor must provide installation and put the equipment into operation. Some key points to consider: • The VA Phoenix Healthcare System has a requirement for one automated pass-through window. • The equipment will support the facilities Sterile Processing Service (SPS) expansion. • The contractor must provide brand name or equal equipment that meets or exceeds the physical, functional, and performance requirements. • The contractor must manage and coordinate on-site installation of items and services. • The contractor must provide a demonstration of the equipment for facility personnel.
