Description

The Santa Ana Unified School District is seeking qualified providers to deliver after‑school elementary enrichment programs (TK‑5) under its Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs (ELOP). The contract will cover two 12‑week semesters per school year, with twice‑weekly sessions (45 min for TK‑2, 60 min for grades 3‑5) at 6‑35 school sites per semester. Providers must manage curriculum delivery in at least one of five focus areas (Arts & Culture, STEM, 21st‑Century Skills, College & Career Readiness, Specialized Movement), handle recruitment, conduct a culminating event each semester, and submit outcome reports within two weeks of semester end. All services are in‑person, staff must meet district qualifications, and the budget is fixed at $193 per session ($8,878 per site per semester). • 46 instructional sessions per semester (holidays excluded) • Minimum 10, maximum 20 students per session; sessions with ≤ 9 students are cancelled • Mandatory background checks, TB test, and district‑provided training for all staff • No subcontracting; single‑contractor award per site • Submission requires one hard‑copy and one flash‑drive copy by April 7 2026 2:00 p.m.

Budget estimate

$9,000 – $200,000

The district caps the budget at $8,878 per school site per semester (46 sessions × $193). A provider winning a single‑site, one‑semester award would earn roughly $9 K. If awarded multiple sites (e.g., 10 schools for two semesters) the total could approach $180 K, and with the maximum of 35 sites for two semesters the ceiling exceeds $600 K. Therefore a realistic range for a typical vendor is $9 K–$200 K, depending on the number of sites and semesters secured.
