J065--Intent to Sole Source | Sun Nuclear Full Service Pittsburgh VAMC

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East (RPOE), Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4) intends to award a sole source contract with Sun Nuclear for full service and maintenance of government-owned Sun Nuclear SunCheck systems at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. The contract includes a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. The contractor will provide preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and 24/7 technical telephone support. Key services include: • Full service and maintenance for Sun Nuclear SunCheck systems • Preventative maintenance to ensure equipment performs in accordance with manufacturer specifications • Corrective maintenance to repair equipment failures • 24/7 technical telephone support • Software updates and patches • Parts and labor for maintenance and repairs The contractor must have experience in maintaining similar equipment and provide a fully qualified Field Service Engineer (FSE) to perform the work.
