Description
The Town of Derry is seeking bids for two separate contracts to modernize the HVAC systems at its wastewater treatment plant. Part I covers air‑conditioning upgrades, including the installation of a ductless unit for the laboratory and full plant AC work; Part II covers boiler and related heating system renovations, with required coordination for an underground LP‑gas tank installation. Both contracts require the contractor to supply, install, test, and commission equipment per the design drawings, handle demolition and disposal, provide the required insurance and a two‑year workmanship warranty, and repair any roof penetrations caused by the work.
• Part I – Air‑conditioning: supply & install HVAC components, install ductless unit in lab (operational by 31 Mar 2022), complete all AC work by 1 Jun 2022.
• Part II – Boiler: supply & install boiler system, keep existing heating operational until 1 May 2022, finish all work by 30 Jun 2022, accommodate LP‑gas tank installation (May 2022).
• Mandatory pre‑bid walk‑through on 18 Nov 2021; sealed hard‑copy bids due 2 Dec 2021, 2 PM; insurance, warranty, and disposal at town transfer station required.
