Engineering Sciences Building B66 Lab – FIB SEM

West Virginia University is seeking a qualified proposer to fully renovate and upgrade the B66 laboratory in the Engineering Sciences Building (basement level) to accommodate a new Focused Ion Beam Scanning Electron Microscope (FIB‑SEM) and associated support systems. The contractor must supply all materials, installation, tools, equipment, and labor required for demolition, HVAC, electrical, data, plumbing, ceiling, lighting, and finish work, and must integrate owner‑furnished laboratory equipment. The project must be completed with substantial completion by 20 Nov 2026 and final completion by 4 Dec 2026, with strict liquidated‑damage penalties for delays. • Scope includes HVAC ductless split system, electrical power & data upgrades, plumbing & exhaust re‑work, new lighting, ceiling grid replacement, painting, and full coordination of site access and security. • Mandatory compliance with WVU EH&S Contractor Safety Program, WVU Supplier Code of Conduct, and all state‑wide procurement requirements. • Pre‑proposal site visit optional on 25 Aug 2026; questions must be submitted by 31 Aug 2026; proposals due 8 Sept 2026.
