Description
The USNS CARL BRASHEAR (T-AKE 7) is scheduled for a Regular Overhaul (ROH) in 2027, and the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka Site Singapore is seeking a contractor to perform the overhaul. The scope of work includes various tasks such as hull and structural repairs, propulsion machinery overhaul, electrical system maintenance, and habitability outfitting and furnishings. The contractor will be required to submit a capability statement, which should include a brief description of the firm and its capabilities to perform a major ship repair overhaul. The statement should also highlight relevant work performed that corresponds with the requirements listed in the attached Work Item Index.
• The contractor must have an active registration in the System for Awards Management (SAM.gov).
• The contractor must be authorized to do business in the country of performance.
• The contractor must submit a capability statement, which should include a brief description of the firm and its capabilities to perform a major ship repair overhaul.
• The contractor must highlight relevant work performed that corresponds with the requirements listed in the attached Work Item Index.
• The contractor must include contract types, dollar value of work performed, number of employees, and the number of years the ship repair firm has been in business.
