Repainting of Aluminum Streetlight Poles

The City of Fort Myers is seeking a contractor to repaint aluminum streetlight poles. The project involves surface preparation, recoating, and repainting of existing poles to restore their protective finish and match the existing color. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work. The project will involve up to 20 poles delivered to and picked up from a prearranged location within 10 miles of the Public Works Yard. The estimated annual quantity is approximately 100 poles. • The contractor must hold any necessary licenses to do business in the State of Florida. • The contractor must have been in business under the current company/firm name for a minimum of three consecutive years. • The contractor must not be in arrears or in default of any debt or contract involving the City. • The contractor must inform the City of any relevant legal or ethical issues. • The contractor must provide written evidence of their qualifications to perform the work within five days of the City's request. The City reserves the right to cancel any solicitation at any time without obligation.
