Description
The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is seeking a qualified laboratory to analyze up to 520 urine specimens for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) metabolites and cotinine as part of the CHAIRS‑LA community health study. The contractor will be responsible for performing validated GC‑MS or comparable analyses, generating data reports, and participating in monthly collaborative meetings over the project’s life‑cycle.
• Analyze 20 internal biomonitoring samples (due Dec 31 2026) and 500 study samples (due Mar 31 2028) for a detailed list of PAH metabolites and cotinine.
• Deliver results in an electronic spreadsheet format and attend monthly project coordination meetings from June 2026 through March 2028.
• Meet all applicable laboratory quality standards, maintain required insurance, and provide all deliverables within the $176,000 contract ceiling.
• Must demonstrate ≥5 years of experience in urinary PAH/cotinine analysis, hold a Ph.D. in environmental chemistry (or equivalent), and be in good standing with the California Secretary of State.
