Description
The City of Raleigh is seeking a qualified contractor to replace twelve (12) overhead doors at its Heavy Equipment Shop located at 4120 New Bern Avenue. The work is a turnkey, single‑prime contract that includes demolition of existing doors, supply and installation of new overhead doors (approximately 16.5 ft × 18 ft each), all mechanical components, controls, safety features, and required permitting/inspections. Work must be performed one bay at a time, during regular business hours, and the contractor must provide its own equipment (e.g., aerial lifts). Two optional alternates are offered: installation of windows in the doors and side‑mount operators/motors. Bids are sealed, single‑lump‑sum, and must be submitted in hard copy by the deadline.
