Description
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting bids for Rest Area Septic Tank Pumping Billings Eastside. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to pump out the septic tank sites at the Custer, Hardin, and Hysham rest areas on an "as needed" basis. The contract period is from December 1, 2025, through November 30, 2026. The contractor's responsibilities will include cleaning and flushing all chambers, properly disposing of all septic waste material, restoring the site to its original grade and appearance, and securing all permits and/or dumping fees required.
• The contract will be for a period of 12 months.
• The contractor must complete the task within three working days of notification.
• All work will be completed between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, except holidays observed by the State.
• The contractor is solely responsible for all safety-related considerations at each location.
• The contractor must enforce and abide by all relevant federal, state, and local safety and health requirements.
