Description
The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship is seeking bids for a nutrient reduction wetland project. The project involves selective clearing, excavation, grading, steel sheetpile installation, tile installation, water control structure, and seeding. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $450,000 to $550,000. The project includes about 12,950 cubic yards of earthwork, installation of 932 square feet of steel sheetpile, water control structure, 2,500 linear feet of tile installation, 59 LF of drawdown pipe, 532 tons of riprap, 106 cubic yards of concrete grout, and 26.3 acres of seeding.
• The project has a construction deadline of June 15, 2027, and seeding deadlines of June 30, 2027, and September 15, 2027.
• A pre-bid conference will be held on July 1, 2026, at the USDA Service Center - Clarion.
• Bidders must be registered with the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals & Licensing.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
