FIRE PIT WASTEWATER HAULING & DISPOSAL FOR BALTIMORE WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL THURGOOD MARSHALL AIRPORT

The Maryland Environmental Service is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide wastewater hauling and disposal from the Fire Rescue Training Pit facility at the Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. The wastewater consists of stormwater containing >1% waste petroleum products and Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF), which contains per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The site is located outside the BWI security perimeter. • The contractor must be able to haul and dispose of wastewater containing PFAS. • The contractor must be able to provide electronic bids through the MES Procurement Portal. • The contractor must be able to meet the requirements specified in the solicitation documents, which can be downloaded from the MES website. • The contractor must be able to attend the bid opening, which will be held electronically. • The contractor must be able to provide all requested information on the MES Procurement Portal on or before the bid due date.
