Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide industrial floor scrubber maintenance and repair services at Edwards Air Force Base in California. The contractor will be responsible for performing quarterly routine maintenance and repairs on up to 27 floor scrubbers, as well as providing over and above maintenance services as needed. The contract is expected to last for approximately 5 years. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards, and must also adhere to the Air Force's antiterrorism awareness policies and procedures. Some key tasks include:
• Performing all manufacturer-recommended scheduled quarterly checks
• Checking and maintaining all battery systems
• Inspecting hopper seals, vacuum fan, and filter shaker mechanisms
• Inspecting and testing ec-H2O module operation
• Cleaning and lubricating articulating joints, steering gears, and grease fittings
• Checking and adjusting all squeegees and hoses
• Inspecting all hydraulic systems and engine and motor parts
• Identifying and reporting all safety and health hazards.
