Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is seeking a qualified contractor to replace three Gardner‑Denver centrifugal blowers at the Canoe Creek State Park sewage treatment plant. The work includes demolition of existing equipment, supply and installation of three new blowers (identical or equivalent), start‑up testing, training, and delivery of operation‑maintenance manuals, all while maintaining uninterrupted plant operations and complying with environmental, safety, and prevailing‑wage requirements.
• Scope: Remove existing 517‑AD centrifugal blowers, install three new identical or equivalent units, provide associated piping, valves, silencer, and controls.
• Schedule: Work must start within 10 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 365 calendar days.
• Requirements: Must hold 100 % performance and material/labor bonds, maintain required insurance, adhere to extensive environmental and safety statutes, and submit detailed shop drawings, product data, and operation‑maintenance manuals.
• Financials: Engineer’s estimate ranges from $250,000 to $600,000; bids are evaluated on a lump‑sum basis.
