Project No. 130066-36, Service Line Investigations

Montgomery County, Ohio, is requesting bids for Project No. 130066-36, Service Line Investigations. The project involves conducting vacuum excavation "potholing" investigations of water service lines throughout Montgomery County to support the development of a service line material inventory. The contractor will be responsible for conducting service line investigations, maintaining traffic control, and restoring the final ground surface to a condition as good as or better than the condition encountered prior to the investigation. The contract will be for a three-year term with an option to extend for two additional one-year terms. • The contractor must provide prices that are firm for a minimum of two years from the date of the contract award. • The contractor must provide a warranty for all materials and services delivered under the contract. • The contractor must comply with all applicable safety regulations and provide traffic control as required. • The contractor must maintain open communication with Montgomery County employees and provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice prior to commencing daily vacuum excavation investigations. • The contractor must restore the final ground surface to a condition as good as or better than the condition encountered prior to the investigation.
