Description
The City (unspecified) is seeking a contractor to clean and dewater three primary and one secondary digesters at the Hale Avenue Wastewater Plant in San Diego County. The work includes removal of sludge, solids, liquids, hair, plastics, trash, organic and inorganic material, and any leakage; onsite dewatering and legal disposal of solids; high‑pressure hose and broom cleaning of interior surfaces, piping, valves, draft tubes, and related components; and inspection/testing of gas diffusers and associated piping for four digesters. The City may require additional repair or installation work after inspection.
• Clean and remove all material from three primary and one secondary digesters.
• Perform onsite dewatering and arrange legal disposal of dewatered solids.
• High‑pressure hose and broom cleaning of interior walls, floors, ceilings, covers, piping, valves, and draft tubes.
• Inspect and test gas diffusers and associated piping for four digesters; possible follow‑on repair work.
