Description
The Dalton Public Schools is seeking a construction management firm to provide Construction-Management-At-Risk services for the construction of the Metals Lab at The Dalton Academy. The project includes space modifications to create a new metals lab and classroom within the existing building, as well as the construction of an exterior covered work and material storage area and loading dock. The selected firm will be responsible for developing a guaranteed maximum price, managing the construction process, and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
• The project has a construction budget of $1,200,000-$1,500,000.
• The project is expected to be completed within a timeframe that allows for minimal disruption to the instructional process.
• The selected firm will be required to provide a two-year warranty on the entire project and to ensure that all trade contractors provide a two-year warranty for their work.
• The firm will be responsible for developing a construction schedule and for managing the construction process to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
