1959P Janitorial Services- WW & Lab Testing

The City of Alexandria is seeking proposals for janitorial services for its Wastewater and Lab Testing Buildings. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew for up to two additional years. Bidders must have a minimum of three years' experience in the custodial/janitorial service business and are required to perform an on-site inspection of the facilities before submitting a proposal. The proposal should include the following: * A bid bond or check for an unspecified percentage of the total bid amount * A performance bond for an unspecified percentage of the total bid amount * A completed proposal form with all pages intact and all specification response columns filled in * Literature, brochures, and other related paperwork attached to the bid, identified with the name of the bidder and bid item number The City of Alexandria reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and the bid specifications may be subject to a recognized escalation index.
