Special Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source - American Proficiency Institute - Phoenix Area IHS

The Indian Health Services (IHS) intends to award a contract to American Proficiency Institute, Inc. for a laboratory proficiency testing program authorized by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for laboratory accreditation for the Hopi Health Care Center and Phoenix Indian Medical Center. The requirement is for a vendor to provide this service. Although the contract is intended to be awarded sole source, other responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which will be considered by the Agency. The capability statement should be emailed to [email protected] by December 14, 2025, 12 PM EST. • The contract is for a laboratory proficiency testing program. • The program must be authorized by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for laboratory accreditation. • The services will be provided for the Hopi Health Care Center and Phoenix Indian Medical Center. • Other responsible sources may submit a capability statement. • The capability statement should be emailed to [email protected].
