Lake Vista Safety Pool Cover

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking quotes for the removal and replacement of the existing safety pool cover at the Lake Vista Pool. The vendor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform the services. The scope of work includes conducting a site visit, verifying existing pool dimensions, removing and disposing of the existing safety pool cover, furnishing and installing a new custom-manufactured commercial-grade safety pool cover, and providing a warranty. • The vendor must have a minimum of three years of experience installing commercial or municipal swimming pool safety covers. • The vendor must have successfully completed at least three commercial or municipal pool safety cover installations of similar size within the past five years. • The vendor must be a Certified Commercial Pool/Spa Contractor issued by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). • The vendor must be an authorized installer for the manufacturer of the proposed safety pool cover. • The vendor must be able to attend the mandatory pre-bid/site-visit meeting. • The vendor must be able to obtain the minimum insurance requirements set forth in the agreement. • The vendor must be able to furnish the manufacturer's warranty and a minimum of one-year workmanship warranty.
