Description
The City of Asheville is seeking a qualified, North Carolina‑licensed landscape contractor to provide comprehensive, year‑round maintenance of the Riverfront (French Broad Greenway) area. The contract covers weekly and semi‑monthly visits, mowing, pruning, mulching, weed and pest control, seasonal clean‑ups, and twice‑monthly inspection meetings. The award will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid; the base term is one year with four optional one‑year renewals.
• Weekly/seasonal landscape tasks (mowing, pruning, mulching, fertilization, weed/pest control).
• Required insurance minimums and drug‑free workplace certification.
• Mandatory NC Landscape Contractor license and compliance with City safety, EEO, and reporting requirements.
• Electronic bid submission required by September 18, 2026, 3 pm.
