Description
The North Dakota Department of Transportation is seeking a provider to furnish janitorial services for the Dickinson District Office. The contract will be for a 1-year period with two 12-month renewal options. The selected provider will be responsible for maintaining a clean and neat space for the public and private workplace. Key responsibilities include daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning tasks, as well as detailed cleaning of specific rooms. The provider must have the necessary licenses and permits to perform the work.
• Daily tasks include emptying waste and paper recycle baskets, power vacuuming, wet mopping, and cleaning restrooms.
• Weekly tasks include power vacuuming, cleaning counters and tables, and washing chairs.
• Monthly tasks include washing tables and hard surfaces, dusting hard surfaces, and emptying aluminum can containers.
• Quarterly tasks include cleaning outside windows, the boiler room, and wet mopping floors.
The provider must also have insurance coverage, including commercial general liability and workers' compensation insurance.
