On-Call Structural Engineering Services

Zone 7 Water Agency is seeking a qualified consultant to provide on-call structural engineering services. The consultant will perform services on an as-needed basis, including providing general structural engineering assistance, preparing structural calculations and specifications, and performing site observation visits and construction inspection. The contract will be for an initial three-year term, with the option to extend for up to two additional years. The total cost of services will be proposed by each firm and is subject to negotiation between Zone 7 and the selected firm. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing general structural engineering assistance to Zone 7 staff • Preparing structural calculations and specifications for concrete containment structures and other miscellaneous structures • Performing site observation visits and construction inspection • Providing clarifications and review of change orders • Reviewing submittals and preparing record drawings
