Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin Regional Office, Billings, Montana, Wyoming Area Office is seeking responses and capability statements from interested small businesses for the purchase of a backhoe. The backhoe should meet the minimum technical specifications, including a standard base equipment, engine, hydraulic system, undercarriage, upper structure, front attachment, rear attachment, and operator station. The backhoe will be used for maintaining approximately 15 miles of access roads to prevent erosion and rockfall. The Government is seeking responses from small businesses, small-disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and Indian small business economic enterprises.
• The backhoe should have a minimum operating weight of 18,000 to 25,000 lbs.
• The backhoe should have a minimum engine net power rating of 91HP at 2,200 rpm per ISO 9249.
• The backhoe should have a maximum dig depth of 14’ 0” sized per manufacturer specifications.
• The backhoe should have a deluxe cab per manufacturer specifications.
• The backhoe should have a cold weather package, including an additional battery, engine block heater, radiator antifreeze, cold weather fuel, and mounting for an ether bottle.
• The backhoe should have a hydraulic system with a quick coupler ready.
• The backhoe should have an extendable stick per manufacturer specifications.
