Description
The Arapahoe Community College is seeking a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for the Upgrade Emergency Generator, Replace Lighting Panels, Main and Annex Bldgs. project. The project involves replacing two existing emergency generators with one new diesel generator, adding a standby Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), and providing emergency power distribution throughout the Main and Annex buildings. The project also includes replacing lighting panels, transformers, and riser bus-mounted circuit breakers in the Main and Annex buildings, as well as modernizing the service elevator. The CM/GC will be responsible for providing pre-construction services, including estimating, scheduling, and project management, as well as construction services, including self-performing work and managing subcontractors. The project is expected to commence on May 11, 2026, and be completed by August 13, 2027.
• The project requires a CM/GC with experience in construction management and general contracting, particularly in projects of similar scope and complexity.
• The CM/GC must have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high-quality workmanship.
• The CM/GC must be able to demonstrate their ability to manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors and stakeholders.
• The CM/GC must be able to provide a detailed project schedule, including milestones and deadlines.
• The CM/GC must be able to provide a comprehensive project budget, including all costs and expenses.
