LLA Levee Pump System Upgrade

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources for a construction project entitled LLA Levee Pump System Upgrade. The work is located in Lewiston, ID, and involves the replacement of pumps and motors, installation of new Motor Control Centers (MCCs) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and upgrading the alarms systems at four pump stations along the Clearwater River. The project aims to increase reliability during normal pumping operations and flood fighting events and improve flood risk management. • The contractor must have electrical/mechanical installation experience, laborers, and a physical means of accessing the pump stations. • All on-site work shall be performed in accordance with the Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1). • The contractor must establish and manage an effective on-site Safety and Health program and a Contractor Quality Control Program. • The project involves the development and management of Contractor furnished submittals for items such as pre-construction plans, product data, test reports, and contract close-out documentation.
