North Dakota State University’s R1A research laboratory is seeking a complete, non‑contact optical profilometer system to support polymer surface‑roughness and topography research for autonomous platforms. The vendor must provide the hardware, required software (including image‑stitching capability), accessories, FOB delivery to the campus, on‑site installation, commissioning, functional demonstration, and mandatory training, all within the base‑price. Optional multi‑year software renewals and maintenance can be priced separately. The system must meet specific performance criteria (e.g., ±5 nm topography repeatability, ≤0.5 nm RMS repeatability, 4‑10 mm working distance, operational volume ≥80 × 150 × 150 mm) and be delivered in Fall 2026 with installation completed by January 2027.
