Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is seeking sources for the replacement of a Limited Use/Limited Application (LULA) elevator at the Quechee Gorge Visitor Center in Quechee, VT. The existing elevator is a two-stop, 1:2 roped hydraulic system with a rated speed of 30 feet per minute. The replacement elevator should meet the requirements specified in the attachments to the notice. Interested firms should submit a capabilities package including their firm's name, address, point-of-contact, phone number, email address, CAGE and DUNS number, business classification, and experience and capabilities related to elevator replacement.
• The elevator should be a LULA type with a rated speed of 30 feet per minute.
• The elevator should have a maximum rated load capacity of 1,400 pounds.
• The elevator should have automatic, two-speed, horizontal-sliding steel hoistway doors.
• The elevator should have a cab with clear internal dimensions of 42 inches wide by 54 inches deep, and a clear interior height of 7 feet, 0 inches.
• The elevator should have a drive and hydraulic system with a 5-horsepower submersed motor and a 30-gallon reservoir of Type 32 All-Weather hydraulic fluid.
